The prerequisite for completing this course and have your Cost Reporting running are:

✅ Have Owner, Contributor or equivalent role at a Resource Group.

✅ Have at least Cost Management Contributor role at the desired scope.

✅ Download and install Power BI Desktop.

For some organizations, Cost Management Contributor role is considered an elevated access. This role is necessary to create the FOCUS export only. So, in this case, the best option is to find someone that do have the access on the scope you need and ask them to set up the FOCUS export for you, as instructed on the Step 2 - Create FOCUS Export.

Not at this point. Although it is based on FOCUS 1.0, that is able to receive cost and usage data from other cloud providers, this solution don't provide the step-by-step on how to deploy them, besides Azure. It is on our roadmap to do that, though. Stay tuned.
